It would be a waste to only do surfing! Miyazaki has so much to offer.
Kengoria staff will introduce you to some great spots that you should visit!
■ Obi
This is a castle town that flourished as part of the Obi domain for 280 years, from 1588 to the early Meiji period.

We recommend taking the resort train "Umisaki Sansaki" to Obi.
"Umisaki Sansaki" is a tourist train that offers the ultimate hospitality while allowing you to experience the seas and mountains of Miyazaki.

Just like its cute exterior, the interior of the train is made with plenty of Obi cedar, creating a very lovely space.

There are many attractive and delicious items on sale on the train, such as the craft beer "Taiyo no Lager" and fruit boxes filled with Miyazaki fruits. There are also original Umihiko Sanhiko goods! It's sure to be a must-have for railway fans.

"Devil's Washboard" seen from the train window
Looking out at the sea, go through the tunnel and you will come to Obi Station.

So cute! It's in the style of the traditional local dance "Taihei-odori" that has been passed down since the Edo period.
It takes just under 10 minutes by shuttle bus from Obi Station...

Arrived at Obi Castle ruins
Above all, here is what I would like you to visit:
Cedar forest at the former main castle site

Being surrounded by large cedar trees on all sides gives you the illusion of being warped into another dimension.
You can simply surrender yourself to this special space, the likes of which you have never seen before.
A little further down is the power spot called "Happy Cedar"

May you find lots of happiness!
After a leisurely tour of the castle ruins, head to the castle town

The carp are swimming!
Obi castle town where Edo streetscape remains
Enjoy the scenery as you walk and eat your way through the food.
By the way, Obi has a lot of delicious shochu!
At Nichinan Sake Brewery Hall , you can sample different sakes and find your favorite one.
A great companion for your train journey!
